We create floral arrangements inspired by the seasons, right from our flower farm to you. Our small, family farm is located in Shelby, NC where we believe in the power of local beauty. We specialize in cultivating heirloom and unique flower varieties to create qualities you wouldn’t find from a typical grocer or florist on hand. There is so much unforeseen beauty in what can be done with seasonal, local flowers. We’re grateful you’re here to take a look into that beauty.
Our à la carte wedding package is perfect for couples who love our fresh-from-the-garden style but don't require large arrangements or on-site setup. This option is ideal for clients who only need personal flowers, centerpieces, and a few focal arrangements. Simply choose the size and quantity of your personal flowers and centerpieces, and describe your color palette. Leave the rest to us!
Our à la carte option is not well-suited for couples who want very specific flower types, require an in-person consultation, or have more complex event design needs.
We understand how stressful planning your wedding can be. With so many choices, so much conflicting advice, and so little transparency when it comes to the actual costs of things, planning your wedding can quickly go from exciting to downright overwhelming.
We've streamlined the process of selecting your wedding flowers by offering a limited range of lush, garden-style arrangements made from locally grown blooms, so choosing is easy. We arrange your flowers using the best of what's growing the week of your wedding in your desired color palette. Our pricing is transparent, so you have the ability to create your own custom flower package while staying within budget.
Orders are available for pickup during set times at our flower farm in Shelby/Patterson Springs area. Delivery is available for an additional fee. Please note that à la carte weddings require a minimum $500 order.

How it Works
REVIEW THE PACKET
Please read all the info in this packet, and be sure to review our designs via our socials to insure we’re a good fit for flowers!
SUBMIT ORDER FORM
Complete the attached à la carte Order Form below.
REVIEW ESTIMATE
After receiving your Order Form, Fostering Flowers will email you an estimate for your wedding flowers based on the details you provided.
SEND CONTRACT AND DEPOSIT
After approving your order, a nonrefundable deposit of 20% and a signed copy of our contract to reserve your wedding date on our calendar. Your deposit will be applied toward your final balance.
MAKE FINAL CHANGES
Approximately a month prior to your event, we will reconnect with you to finalize your order. Additions, substitutions, and small changes can be made at this time.
SUBMIT PAYMENT
Final payment is due 14 days prior to your event. Checks (payable to Fostering Flowers) and cash preferred. Payments made via Square online or Venmo incur a 5% processing fee.
ENJOY YOUR FLOWERS!
We'll have your flowers carefully packaged and ready for you to pick up at our farm in Shelby on the date and time specified on your final order. We will happily deliver for an additional fee.

Pickup & Delivery
Your order will be packaged and labeled for pickup, with care instructions, at our flower farm in the Patterson Springs area. Please note: flowers should be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle, such as a van or SUV with seats that fold down flat. Flowers cannot be transported in the back of an open-bed pickup truck. Pickup times will be coordinated after we finalize your order.
If available, we will happily deliver your order for $125 or 10% of the total order (whichever is greater), to locations within an hour from our farm. Additional distances incur a $2 per mile charge.
